We gladly accept items on consignment following these terms and conditions:
ACCEPTABLE: In style womens quality clothing and accessories that are in season, clean, odor free, and on
hangers.
UNACCEPTABLE: Articles with stains, popped seams, holes/tears, missing buttons, broken zippers, pet hair,
and/or smoke or mildew odor. We do not accept any lingerie, undergarments, night gowns, robes, or
slippers.
The store will set the prices and after an item is sold the consignor will receive 50% of the selling price.
Items will remain on the sales floor for a 90 day period. After the first month unsold items will be
discounted 20%, after the second month they will be discounted 50%. If after that amount of time the item
does not sell it will be donated or returned to the consignor at their request. All returned merchandise
must be picked up within 2 weeks of final floor date or all items will be donated. WE DO NOT CALL. The
consignor is responsible for checking back to see if items have sold as we do not have the time to contact
every consignor individually. Posh Threads reserves the right to have sales or give discounts at any time
seen fit. All books will be closed on consignment earnings not picked up after 1 year.
We will do our best to make sure your items are protected. In the event of loss, theft, damage, or fire, Posh
Threads will not be held responsible. Posh Threads pledges complete honesty to sell your items to the
very best of our ability. Our main goal is to satisfy our consignors and customers to keep them coming
back. In order to do this we must be very selective, price fairly and move the merchandise quickly. A fast
turnover is what we all want to see!
